SAD NEWS:
Our Drone Took a Hard Fall – Hoping Our Fans Can Help.

We are sad to share that our aerial history photography program has hit an unexpected setback. While capturing breathtaking fall foliage for our Mr Local History Project series, our drone suffered a serious crash after striking an unseen obstacle. Our operator is fine, but the drone is not. The repair estimate came in at over $ 400, which is more than our small nonprofit can easily afford. This drone has been our eye in the sky, bringing our community beautiful overhead perspectives of local landmarks, historical sites, and seasonal beauty that few ever get to see. (see just a sample at the bottom of this post.)

If you have enjoyed our photos, videos, and stories, please consider helping us get back in the air. Every contribution, large or small, makes a difference, and as a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit, your donation is tax-deductible. We don’t want to divert funds from our gift shop as those funds go towards our scholarship fund. So sad. First it was insurance increases, and now this. Please help if you can.

Help us continue sharing the beauty and history of our community from above.
Donate today and keep history flying.
