Mr. Local History Releases its Latest Online Magazine – Vol 1 Issue 2

We call this the “2019 Bernards Township Charter Day Edition”

The Mr. Local History project has been working hard to produce the next issue of our magazine that combines news, stories, and feature posts about the area’s local history in the Somerset Hills area of New Jersey. This month’s cover showcases Charter Day, what it means to Bernards Township, the lost Charter, and how Mr. Local History worked to recreate the infamous document. Also take a look at the latest wooden village keepsake, the historic 1912 Astor Estate & Municipal Hall in Bernards Township. The history of the estate is also here.

A special bonus for this issue is the story about the lore of the mysterious Liberty Corner Devil Tree.

Just click the magazine cover to read this issue.
Enjoy.
