POSTPONED – “Sipping through the Somerset Hills” – a Virtual Pub Crawl

Here’s a one time opportunity to preview a new program exploring the history of libations and historic taverns in the Somerset Hills.  Join program consultant Meg Wastie as she takes us on a journey through the history of speakeasies, taverns, and pubs from colonial times to the present. Explore history in the Somerset Hills through “bar glasses”, taste period drinks from the past including mead, metheglin and flip. A cash bar will also be open throughout the presentation.

Everyone who joins this one time pilot program will receive a 2020 individual membership to the Mr. Local History Project for participating.

$25 registration (must be 21 or over)

  • Includes snacks, presentation, & traditional drink samples
  • Cash bar for other drinks

Those who participate in this pilot will be asked to complete a survey at the end of the event to determine how the program should be rolled out to the general public in 2020 around Somerset County.
